Cannabis Medicine Care is available to any adult.

Cannabis Medicine - sometimes called Medical Marijuana - can be a safe and very beneficial therapy for many health conditions.

Many people interested in using Cannabis as part of their plan of care for treating and healing illness and supporting wellness benefit from the support of a health care provider with this specialization.

Common questions include:

Can Cannabis help me?

I want to try Medical Cannabis but I don’t know how to attain it.

I am curious if it will help, but my doctor doesn’t know much about it and can’t advise me.

I don’t know where to start! What kind of Cannabis should I use? How much should I use? The dispensary menu is so confusing!

I want relief of my symptoms, but I don’t want to be “stoned”.

What about side effects?

I don’t want to get addicted.

I tried something I bought at a store, but it didn’t help.

I can help!

Therapeutic use of the Cannabis plant is a fascinating, groundbreaking development in science, medicine, and social change. In the US and many other countries, the ill-informed prohibition of the cannabis plant is being discarded, and therapeutic access to cannabis is again opening up.

Thousands of years of human use, and decades of research from all over the world affirm the remarkable ways the active compounds in the cannabis plant interact with our bodies to nourish and support our own innate endocannabinoid system - understood now to be key in regulating balance and smooth functioning of our most vital physiological processes - particularly for brain, hormonal, and immune system health.

Cannabis may help treat:

Chronic Pain

Post Traumatic Stress

Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Disease

Cancer treatment side effects

Chronic Illnesses including Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease

Seizure Disorders

Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia

After assessment and conversation about your concerns, we will determine if Cannabis Medicine is a good option for you. Sometimes other integrative and botanical medicine therapies are more or concurrently appropriate, and I will offer you these suggestions and resources.

If you live in New Hampshire or Vermont and have a qualifying condition, I can provide certification for the Medical Cannabis program. If you are in another state, I can assist you in obtaining certification for medical cannabis from your doctor.

I do not prescribe, sell or dispense cannabis medicines.

I provide personalized education, guidance, and advocacy relevant to your interest in the use of therapeutic cannabis.  I do not assume the role of primary health care provider for the conditions you are treating. I work in collaboration with you, and your other health care providers when appropriate,  to support you in the use of cannabis medicine as part of an integrative approach to your care.
